Demon Deals?

Just curious, without spoilers, if i will ever come across a demon that i MIGHT want to make a deal with that would cause a conflict with Jarhan or whatever his name is.

I just bought a good fire wizard for henchmen and got rid of the 2h girl. If the Ice wizard guy is going to be a problem i want to get rid of him and buy an ice wizard to level up with me before i use all kinds of skill books for jarhan.

So, are demon deals a thing, or is his foreshadowing of "you must never make a deal with a demon to get me" just flavor dialouge?

If it looks like there will be, you can tell him to leave the party for the time being and recruit him again later.

ah. very well then, i will keep him and just do that then rather than waste the 3.5k to buy a less optimaly built icemage. thanks.

It's actually possible in Cyseal however most players will never see it, and I don't think it affects Jahan.

i have torn cyseal apart and had to use a guide to find tthe perfect murder book.

I know I'm like five years late (literally) but the demon deal in Cyseal is if you end up in jail, you can bargain with a demon for freedom. Not really necessary though since there are plenty easier ways to get out.
