so i just picked this up, looks like a face made our or lavea and rock, does anyone know what it combines with/what it makes

It enchants any weapon with Str and Dex. Pretty darn rare but incredibly useful.

drag it onto a weapon. It gives 1 STR&DEX on low level and even 2 on high level (14+?) stuff :D
Needs 5 Handworking to use though.

Btw there is a goblin vendor that sells them occasionally near the second city :D

With blacksmithing lvl 5 and crafting lvl 5, you can craft weapons with almost equal power to Unique legendaries (same or slightly more damage, with statistical modifiers). So it is very helpful when you're not getting the drops you want :)

And also when you do get your drops, it helps to make those drops that much stronger.
