Cyseal Watcher Statues -- Air Statue bugged? Or do I have to use a specific spell?

I defeated the Earth, Water and Fire Elemental easilty, but I can't get the Air Statue to react at all. I can't even target the thing with any of the air spells--they just say invalid target. I thought for sure lightning strike would do it, so I left the area and levelled a bit, but I still can't target the statue.

Do you have a weapon with air damage? You can whack it with that.

The lightning bolt spell jarvan has from the start can be targeted onto terrain. You can also use an air element arrow if you have a ranger.

You CAN NOT use Lightning Strike, that spell can't target terrain/non-enemy item like barrels.

Like wise for the Air Claw or what/ever the one with Blind status.
