Very simple requst - how do I make a quill?

This should be easy. Knife + feather, right? Nope, doesn't work. I have 3 "Fancy Feathers". I've tried combining them with daggers, looked all over for an hour until I found a butter knife and tried virtually everything else that has a sharp pointy end.

Is this just bugged or something?

Same thing - how do you make a needle?

The game is great, but fails tremendously at some of the most basic stuff.

You need a normal feather to make it.

I don't know if there's a way to make a needle but either the enchantress in the market sells it or Arhu does.

Knife + pillow = feather, knife + feather = quill
