How do you get the chest past the lava?

So in Boreas's castle (where you fight him), the door to the west opens up and you can go down a path with lava to a portal. When you take the portal it puts you near a room full of lava and a chest on the other side.. any idea how to get the chest? Also the door is level 20 and not clickable so i assume there's a lever someplace else.. Anyone get this chest?

How did you get past the lava on the walkway to the teleporter?

i had one of my mages teleport me half way, then I threw the pyramid to the end and the rest of the party teleported there.. then they teleported me from the middle to the end.. (the steps are safe to stand on)

About the chest. I used tornado to remove the lava and teleported in.

Thanks.. yeah jsut figured it out.. used tornado to clear the lava from teh room then used Phoenix dive to get into the room..

The items are crap though.. everything is level 5 or below. The entire map is full of low level loot.. I think the loot table is bugged. For example, I haven't received a single cloth head part since I was level 6. It's been leather or metal since the first town.

you can clear that lava on the way to the teleporter by smashing the statue at the intersection before it. If you notice, all the others are smashed except that one...finish the job and the lava clears. Just another solution.

one very simple way of getting accross lava is getting more than 100% fire resist

You can just teleport the chest from the lava pool to your side of the fence. Teleport works on most objects, not just people.

There is one simple solution to reaching the portal. Destroy the sentinel to the left side of the walkway. Lava disappears. Now to access the cell....

Done it. Used tornado to clear the lava and teleported my main into the room using Jahan. If u teleport that way you avoid the attitude hit.

I still don't know how to open the gate, though. Same rooms there's a dead imp with a note saying he suicide as he was trapped by on of those sentinels nears a chest. I always use Winged Feet and Walk in Shadows to past through these but not sure how to open the gate where ornate chest is.

So there’s a lever just outside of the portal you take to get in there, on the side of one of the statues on your left (facing the portal) but that doesn’t seem to have any effect on the room if anyone knows what that was supposed to do? But to get to the chest that the sentinel is guarding, the one by the dead imp, you can cast invisibility and go right past it. Maybe finding a way to destroy the sentinel will unlock the gate for the other chest? Just speculation since I could not figure out a way to harm it. Otherwise idk of a way to unlock the gate, but everyone else is right that if you cast tornado, it will clear the lava, and then you can teleport in and out.

the only way is just teleport it.. you cannot open it.
