So I guess I'm not supposed to fight Loic at level 10? He's 13.
He and his group is only level 13, and I've fought and killed things that many levels above me before. And in truth every fight and boss fight until now I had quite an easy time with.

However, once I kill his little friends who like to keep resurrecting each other, he just keeps healing himself for over 300 health any time he's less than 50%. He has some absurdly high defenses that make melee attacks against him useless, as they almost always miss. If it weren't for this, he'd be dead by now. He's not showing as immune to debuffs, but even after like 8 or 9 attempt to apply them each and every one has failed.

Even with just him left all 4 of my people and 3 summons can't kill him. Well, maybe, each time he does his heal he's maybe 8% lower than the time before it, so I'll have to fight him for another 20 minutes at this rate. I literally was in this fight for about 50 minutes before I quit. Mostly do to boredome of just chipping away at him just to watch him mega heal with no cooldown. But the final straw was that stupid chicken that asked me to spare it's life, just figured hanging around a battle was the cool thing to do and got blasted by a fireball. ALT+F4.

So is it really just the 3 levels difference, or is this guy just overpowered? Cause this guy is like some kind of demigod to us at the moment. Like I said, all the bosses up till now have been easy for my party, even being 1-2 levels ahead.

There's no reason you shouldn't be level 13, before you try to kill Loic you might want to make sure you have fully explored the starter area and completed the white witch quest which involves completing the snow realm.

Believe it or not it is possible to defeat him at level 10! I fought him (and him alone) for forever but with enough DPS and summons it’s possible eventually. After 1 hour of him non-stop mass healing himself he finally gave it a break for one turn and that was enough to do the trick. It helps to surround him and lower his def that way too. Best of luck to all who see this that stumbled on him at lower levels lol!

I don't even remember making this post or this encounter.

But it sounds like this Loic guy was a jerk, so thank you for giving him another beating.
