Filling a bucket
Trying some crafting, so trying to fill a bucket with water. I have a bucket and am next to a well but there is no option to Use the bucket only to equip it (wear it on your head!). Have tried assigning it to quickslot but that seems to grey it out when selected and it disappears from my inventory.

Have dug holes, shorn sheep, made tomato sauce but this one is annoying me.

Am I missing something obvious?

you have to drag the bucket over the well (the outline will turn yellow). let it go and a filled bucket will show up in your inventory.

just like filling cups with water only for them it's water barrels(water barrels also work with buckets).

You can fill buckets with water barrels or milk a cow as well (If you have Pet Pal trait)

Pick up the bucket and, with the bucket on the mouse, click a water barrel.

No need to go to a well, water barrels can fill buckets and are portable so you can move them next to your work area. You can fill empty cups, empty mugs and empty bottles the same way as well, for lighter, stackable, portable water.
