IIRC, there's a pile of dirt somewhere in the garden to dig up to get the key to his study.

I found the key and got inside the study... but the access to the blood stone is blocked...

study is located in desert part of lucula just below spider queen there is guy in pool of blood who gives you quest to find it, it is on cliff right above him.

There is a single book called simply "Book" among all the trash Maradino wrote about himself. Reading it opens a secret room.

Would've figured this before checking cause i tried to take that book named as "book" among the first things that gathered in the room. That's after took down the bogeyz there. For some reason i can't take the book even by using Alt+Rat Click Turned on all the light sources in the room to see if it's some sort of linked glitch, but nah didn't help. Good thing about it was to admire nice lighting made by great Larian Studios crew Tried relog & that didn't work so now gonna see if full client restart fixes that pick up glitch.
