Spoilers: Balance pressure plates?
I'm at the second room of the Immaculate trials, after you get infected with Rot, after a good while of going around I got tired of not being able to figure it out.
What am I supposed to place upon the plates? Only one plate "said" *Click*, the rest make the noise but no text shows up.

Any directions will be apreciated, thanks

you have to place something specific on each plate, if i remember right they were

one was a candle, one was a vase, one was a box, one was a bucket of water

.. wow, how does one figure that out? And now where will I find a bucket of water.

Well I'll leave this with a bump and anothe rquestion. Thanks to Cow's comment, I managed to get 3 barriers out of 4. So far the vase, the candle, and the barrel clicked. But the crate didn't click.
Or maybe by box you mean one of those tiny chests that contain mostly ingredients?

Anyways, bump, I hope that when I get back I'll be able to move forward.
Thanks

I think they hoped people would figure out that pressure plates "Click!" when they are activated, and go down regardless of what is on them... but not activated. So you switch the weight around (1kg-2kg-vase-heavy crate) and look at the force fields if needed... until you get past. The statue hints at the weight balancing.

whole lot of trial and error, by box i meant crate but it might have been the barrel, the bucket of water is up a ramp in the north-eastish part of the map near some bookcases in a little room

im generally fairly terrible at explaining things but do not have a screenshot to show atm because a friend hosts the game

you don't need specific items, just specific weights. Off the top of my head, from lightest to heaviest you need 1lb, 2lb, 5lb and 7.5lb. But there are specific items in the room with those weights...just walk around holding your alt key down.

Well if it's just a matter of weight I think I'll be able to handle it later.
Thanks all for the replies!

In case someone is stuck at the same point, and finds this post, here's what I did. All the hints they gave were right, but in the bottom right pressure plate (having the barriers as north) I had to place 2 candles one above the other.

Northeast: Candle
Southeast: The three books you find in the Northeast section, by the overturned bookshelf
Southwest: Vase
Northwest: Heavy Barrel west of plate. Hold alt to find which one is heavy.

Yeah, this game does a HORRIBLE job at explaining how to solve this puzzle. You have small vases, big vases, medium vases, one can assume they were talking about that.
This is the worst quest ever designed. Thank you Broseph Stalin!

Actually it's weight based, not item based.

The weight are: 1, 2, 5, 7.5.

You can pick up barrel and put it into inventory and you can see the weight.

I substitute candle for pumpkin for e.g, delicious pumpkin.

You can also stack items on top of eachother to meet weight requirements. Or split potions/ingredients for exact amounts. The items themselves don't matter.
This is probably one reason why they have "sort weight" as an option for your inventory. Very useful for this puzzle.
And, obviously, they go by size of the button. Don't listen to "back-right" etc because people use different perspectives.

This is not just the worst puzzle in this game, it's the worst puzzle in most any RPG we have delt with in memory. How your suppose to figure it out on your own, we have no idea. Tried for almost 2+ hours, and gave up.

This is the first time I've had to use a spoiler in years. Awful puzzle, and almost thinking of taking a half-star off my review because of it.
