Who killed.... *spoilers*
... Archibald.

I did it and felt so bad with his son there that I had to reload.

I killed him to. It was a mistake because I tried to go to the other area as invisible, which did not work and he attacked me. I don't like to reload though so I had to live with it, even though it was quite a sad moment

What really set the feels off was when I clocked Amadeus in the back of the head as he was bawling and running over to his father's corpse.

I just had to at that point.

I got that info about Archibald being the "smart one" from other troll
but i can't seem to find him? Does not appear to be in troll cave?

In my run Amadeus didn't even cry all he did was saying club em daddy or something along those lines odd...

I killed Archibald, but seeing his son weeping there I started thinking what happens when he grows up and shows up on my doorstep with that 'You killed my father' look on his face. So I executed a sweet critical hit on the kiddo with a ctrl bash and happily continued my adventure.

I made that b1tch a king but when I went back into the king's lair they didn't even bother to update that information and the old king still lay dead with a ton of his half witted guards walking around.

BOOH!

Should have killed them both. Don't start it if you can't finish it Larian.

My feelings are that he was surrounded by dead civilians that were unwilling or unable to pay the shakedown money-- Archie thought nothing of ending their lives in the blink of an eye while training his child to care little for the sanctity of life-- remember they didn't turn them away, they killed them. Well, he just met someone he couldn't shake down and paid with his life. No regrets.
