Jahan not joining?

Hi, Im quite new to the game and have a problem:

I got the 2H warri already (marian or so), she joined by dialogue. But now I came to the library an talked to Jahan.

Not sure, and Im not in front of my Computer atm, but he sayd something like "There is no place for me in your group, Sorry. And then the dialogue stopps.

What am I dong wrong? Do I have to have a skill to take 4 ppl in my grp or do I have other requirements?I started a Multiplayergame and have a Mage and a traveller/passenger as my mainchars.

Your dialogue with him. He asked if you'll swear never to make deal with black magic. If you agreed to it, he'll join you. Else he wouldn't. You can talk to him again btw.

I got Jahan to join me when I was level 2. I'm not sure why he doesn't want to follow you.

Ah yes, now I remember. That is probably it.

Did you give one of your characters the Lone Wolf trait? If so, you'll only be able to take Madora OR Jahan along, not both.

Thx, Syrris. That´s my problem ... I thought, LoneWolf just is about having pets or summons, not companions or henchmen ... so my fault or the discriptions. thx again!

i'm having problem recruiting jahan. my other character says "you speak before your turn! i for one am not ready to make that promise." everytime if i agree not to deal with demons, and dialogue ends with jahan saying something. doesn't matter which character i use to talk to him. ideas wat to do?

ok i had to separate/unchain my characters from top left and move other one somewhere he cant hear the deal, 4 members now <3

You probably set the personality of one of them to an AI right? If you did, and you selected a personality like Random or probably 1 of the new personalities, they would go against your choices.

one is maniac and cant remember what i selected for second one. 13 hours and i'm lvl 4, so much to learn and to do in this game.

Well, those personality choice might be the cause of your problem then. Because sometimes they choose to respond to a situation quite the opposite of what you wanted to.

I had the problem with Jahan too. It was solved by having BOTH of my characters talk to him and agree as approporiate. He would not agree with only the first character, but agreed when the second asked. Give a try.
