Repairing weapons
Noob question. Can anyone please explain how repairing weapons works in this game? I cannot seem to figure it out and my lowly sword is nearly broken. :-/

Do you have a repair hammer?

Either wait to get a repain hammer (or tongs) as loot or buy one- I think potions lady in the market has one. Then, put it in inventory with whomever has the blacksmithing trait and now right click an item in his/her inventory and select 'blacksmithing' and it gets repaired. Other party folks will have to divest their weapons/clothes to that person to get repairs. Right click and select 'send to soandso' Good luck!

You need two things. One - blacksmithing skill, Two - repair hammer\tongs. If you have both either right click on the item in question and choose "Blacksmithing" or double click directly on the hammer and apply it to the item.

Failing the above some of the vendors can repair your kit. If they can they will have a highlighted hammer in the middle of the trade screen. Click on the hammer and then click the icon that displays what you have equipped. And then click the kit you need repairing.

Or simply ask an NPC to do so. AFAIK everyone you can trade with, can also repair your stuff (for a certain price of course).

Edit: dang, too slow ^^
