Went down through the sarcohagus, but i am stuck at the force field barrier , says i need a hexagonal item? I have checked everywhere

Trying to figure this one out myself...saying it's an amulet is somewhat helpful but not nearly enough to help us complete it lol

It's actually VERY easy to miss a huge part of the murder plot and with it, this amulet. Spoilers:
It's Evelyn's amulet. You find it in Evelyn's hideout, which is in the northwest beach (two torches and a pool of fire) coordinates are roughly x70 y 295. To open the hideout door, you need to use the reveal scroll while in front of it. To get the reveal scroll, you must get into Evelyn's house, which is next to the doctor's house in Cysea (from which you were first teleported to the Goblin). To get into Evelyn's house, you must either find her key in the doctors house (in a wardrobe or something) or just break down her door. There's also some interaction with Jake's dog here, if you take the smelly coat from a wardrobe in the doctor's house and take it to the dog in the cemetery, the dog will react to it and confirm that Evelyn was invovled in the killing.

As you can see, it's quite convoluted and some parts are easy to miss.

What does Evelyn's amulet look like? Because I looked back through my items, and I'm afraid I sold it. I checked all the markets, and none of them had it. I'm kinda worried that I'm screwed

Most merchants keep the items you sold them even when their stock changes. Check the merchants.

It's called an "Enlightened Amulet" and is a hexagonal token. It doesn't have any other special traits or properties.

@Doc Riker -- I thought so too but another post revealed it's in the Ingredient category not equipment like other amulets.

Well, I have the amulet, and I put it in the socket below the church, but nothing happened. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Do I have to go the the Lucalla Woods region, or whatever it's called, and do that first?

No, you don't have to do Lucalla first. I would carefully read through your quest lists and see if you missed anything

Don't know if it helps but you have to use it with one of the two main characters. The main character which has the amulet in the inventory has to be selected! Maybe it also helps when the "Enlightend Amulet" is in main inventory and not in a backpack. You'll have to hold-klick it and pull it to the control panel. The panel border turns yellow when its placed correctly (its else as in "another quest" ;-) where you have to place amulets on sockets) - actually its not really placed it is used on the panel. When its done correctly you'll see a bar as if you were using a lockpick popping up

I just drop my teleporting triangle on the ground and threw it on the other side and teleported. Works with most forcefields and locked areas
