Having trouble with Braccus Rex? I just found an unbeatable strat.
Before the fight starts, simply put pots and urns around every spawn to trap the elite bosses inside. There are plenty of these around every spawn platfom. Once the fight does start, they won't be able to move. Simply start the fight around the middle of the room and none of their abilities will be able to reach.

You have to navigate around the room as Rex travels so the fight doesn't start before this is done, but once it is, you'll only have to deal with Rex, who can easily be frozen or knocked down. The fight takes a bit longer because of the clean-up involved, but if you're having trouble with the fight, this will get you through.

You are an amazing person. Thank you!

I was able to sneak to two of the minibosses on the sides and trap them with candles and vases. If Braccus spots you, stay still and dont move. He will turn away and you can re-enter sneak mode and do the thing. I wasn't able to trap the Twins though, he spotted me almost instantly.

If you're having trouble trapping them, verify your trap by trying to walk into the area you just walled off. If there's a hole, your char will find it by walking through it.

If you do this, you just need to survive Braccuses meteor and fear. I gulped down a fire resist potion on all my chars (you need to be quick or they'll wear off) and ate the meteor. If my water and fire mages didn't get feared, I planted a fire elemental to tank the twins and called down rain to quench the fire from the meteor. From there, just keep Braccus stunlocked, kill the Twins, then Braccus and then the trapped minibosses.

Good luck :)

This fight was complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You walk in and Braccus carpet bombs you with fireballs for around ~200 damage on each party member. Then you have to fight the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minions YOU ALREADY KILLED. Ugh, I died more times on this fight than ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Ornstien and Smough in Dark Souls.
I've found an easier way I think. Leave your party behind the entrance and send your fastest character ahead with as much fire resistance as possible. Braccus casts his meteor storm only on this guy. Then run back behind the door. The twins can't move through the door aand are blocking braccus and the ghoul. Only Dietmar can get through, but he is easily dispatched by melee characters. Then finish the twins with fire immune or resistant guys together with the ghoul who is real squishy at 500hp. Braccus will occasionally cast fear or a fireball but nothing a decent lvl9 or 10 party shouldn't be able to handle. When he is alone start the gang up :-).

I found it easier to kill the Twins first. Baron bones and Slimer are easy to deal with. Sticking close to Braccus seems to stop him from using his fire spells. Other time I foought in range and he peppered me with fire spells.

I didn't knew how to go through the portal till I was lvl 14 or so and when I finally figured it out I killed all of them in 3-4 rounds without taking damage at all. 4 summons+lots of spells=dead. He never even casted meteor, just fear which I was immune to. (leadership skill helps)

I've never been wiped out on this fight and I've played through act 1 3 times now. Beat this fight the first time every time. It's tough if you just do it head->wall, sure, but if you put some thought and strategy into it or ingenuity then it can go to super easy mode.

ex: using crafted voodoo dolls I kill braccus and the bone king guy both on turn 1 of combat and knocked down the lighthouse guy with my fighter and froze the twins with my wizard using piercing ice shard :P

you can also use a fire elemental to tank both braccus and the twins while you focus one of the other 2 down at a time.

you can also use a scroll of teleport/slowfall to move one of the bosses into a spot in the room that they can't get out of, then kill them with ranged when you're ready to deal with them

another way would be to just buff up your poison and fire resistance which also makes this fight a cinch

yet another way to handle this fight easily is carry a couple barrels with you if you have a high str character and plop them down in the room, lure the bosses next to them and then set them off with a fire arrow/spell/scroll for massive damage

and if you have someone with telekinesis you can bring a really heavy object like a whetstone wheel or wine barrel and telekinesis throw them at the bosses for massive damage. teleport also works with this strat

all of that being said, I have beaten this fight just using the head->wall method as well by just healing through all the damage with spells and potions, but it was definitely the hardest of the different ways i've done it

The first time I entered the room, my whole party got one shotted with his fireballs.

The second time I whooped his and his friends ass.

This was a tough fight. I am playing with a Rogue and Knight, both Lone Wolf. And I don't use much magic during fights. Some buffs, some summons and heals.

Well at level 8 that fight, on hard difficulty, was super tough.

I ended up cheesing it with the following strat:

Just inside the room and to the left are some pillars and a wall. Getting both your chars back there in just the right spot and only 1 of the bosses can fight you at a time.

Such an awesome fight,I fought him with my buddy in co-op.

He kills us the first time,we reload,we buff my melee tank and send him in first,he gets hit,I heal him with the warrior heal, and then we start the fight.

My friend had an elemental Wizard,I had a sword&shield fighter together with Madora and Jahan.

We destroy all of his minions,he kills most of us except my friend's Wizard who casts ressurect on me,I heal with all the pots I had stored,I revive Madora, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ we kicked Rex's ass.

What a great,great fight!XD

If you're going to do the pot trick, make sure the pots aren't on the steps, they need room to spawn or they end up in the middle of the map.

If you have two players you can just cheat your way through. Have one player keep Braccus in chat and have the other teleport him into the other room and it'll be just your party vs Braccus after that cause you dont aggro the other bosses.

He is really easy to defeat without resorting to tricks if you have the blind skill, I put one point in witchcraft just for blind, I was able to blind him the entire fight, kill his minions then focus on him, blinded he does not attack and does not resurrect the mini bosses.

Use the candles (as they cannot be destroyed) to form a barrier across the first doorway. Move one to allow a toon access to the room. Agro and run away. Block the doorway again so they gather on the other side. You may need to remove and replace one or melee bosses will detect no path and stay still. Stand back on the steps and teleport them one at a time to your group.
It's a little complicated but I was clearing this when they were 2 or 3 levels higher than me quite easily.
