How to craft a mobile kitchen ?

Hi,

in my coop game I have got a mobile kitchen ... but couldn't craft one in my sp game !

How is this done or where to find ?

Drag a cooking pot over a campfire.

Then drag the mobile kitchen into your inventory.

not possible, I am not able to move it when the cooking pot is on that damn campfire

Hm, strange...

IIRC I made a mobile kitchen at a campfire west of Hunter's Edge and it appeared automatically in my inventory. Maybe a bug?!

I thought you couldn't carry a mobile kitchen. It would be similar to carrying an anvil.
You can just use the mobile kitchens scattered around in the first town.

Which is the point: it's silly and unnecessary.

It seems that it's a bug. You can't place mobile kitchen anywhere on the map. Once you pick it up to your inventory you won't be able to use it somehow.

At my COOP GAME, which my brother and I started at release of the game, it is working, but maybe they have PATCHED it out.

In my SP game it isn't, as you couldn't pick up the mobile kitchen

Hi all, maybe we can nail this down a little better. I first started to try this out in silverglen. I created myself a crafting area. I grabbed a chest(for storing bars until level 15+ which I'll then craft for killer profit), oil barrel, poison barrel, and moved an anvil from the blacksmith. If you move it inside a building then no one will complain about you using it.
Now all I'm missing is a mobile kitchen. This was all during my co op game(tactician). I made a mobile kitchen with the fire right by the silverglen portal. I tried to pick it up/move it with my strength hero but it wouldn't budge.

Later, in my SP honor mode run, I arrived at silverglen and began recreating the crafting area similar to my last run. This time when I combined the pot with the fire it picked up the fire pit and I now have a mobile kitchen in my inventory. Same fire, two different results. I'm pretty sure I saw two options when trying to combine. If you right click the fire pit there is combine and combine with. My theory is that those two options yield different results. Going to test tonight and try and figure this out.

Also for those of you that do have a mobile kitchen in your inventory, just right click and drop it. Presto!

I had marked this as solved, but the same procedure tested a dozen times on one campfire failed when tried on a different one. Still, this technique may be worth a try.

Sidling up to a a campfire and selecting "Combine with" always places the mobile kitchen on the ground. Instead, target the campfire FROM A DISTANCE as though you are going to attack it (using left button [>] on controller), then select "Actions > Combine with". This will place the mobile kitchen in your inventory for you to carry and "Drop Item" later on.

Oddly, you do not need a ranged weapon equipped, but you do need to be SOME YARDS AWAY before you select "Actions > Combine with".

Right Click on Campfire.
Combine with.
Move Campfire to right slot,
Place Cooking Pot in left slot.
Combine.

You now have a Mobile Kitchen in your inventory.

Also the campfire by the waypoint in Silverglen automatically goes into your inventory when you combine with cooking pot.

I have just learned that if you use a campfire located outside of town to make your mobile kitchen, then it will be in your inventory. I can confirm that this worked on Xbox when I went to the campfire near diet mar and his thugs and combined the campfire with my pot and created a mobile kitchen in my inventory. The only problem I had is that I dropped it and then didn’t know how to pick it back up. I will reload my game and just keep it in my inventory from now on.

It works only if you drag the pot over the fire and then "combine"
I tried from my inventory and it failed, tried right click combine and it failed.
I used my crafter and pulled a pot from the ground over a "bandit" campfire, then pressed combine, keep in mind the fire was the second slot on the crafting not the first one as if you press combine on the fire. Now I finally have a mobile kitchen. Pretty badly implemented.
