Where can I find rope?

Might seem stupid, but I somehow missed getting any kind of rope so far, halfway through the 2nd map..

Mmm are you trying make a bow? It's 2 tendons or guts, not sure of the word, to make a stringbow.

EDIT: First craft tendon + tendon = Stringbow. Then you can make your bow, they are quite good weapons or perhaps with some crafting skill levels only.

I'm actually trying to make backpacks, but I need rope to make them, which I lack.

you can make rope by combine Yarn + Yarn. To make Yarn you need to Wool + Wool. You can find Wool on sheeps, there is a tool to do that or you can kill a sheep for random drop...

Ha ha ok, cool, myself I bought and found my bag packs. Military shop or NPC close to it provided me multiple. But yeah that's cool to make it yourself. I found few ropes before where you are in game but it was random drops. There's evelyn bag too, and few you can steal or pick. But perhaps you just want have the fun to make one yourself. I wonder if they have a bonus.

For that sort of material, check common NPC or perhaps a shop has more general stuff, but I don't remember which one.

Ha ha too cool, because there's a good logic. I found the trick to get wool but didn't pushed further. :-)
