need help on kitty love

got the collar, and the cat is showing it off in cecil's house, but it's basically stuck there.
They got together but the log in the journal still won't disappear . Is there a follow up quest?

I've had this as well with a few quests.

- Make sure you go through every dialogue option with all the participants.
- Some of the new options appear buried amongst the old ones. Even along paths you don't think they belong in.

Don't know what closed the quest because I was not looking. But I do remember that 2 people will comment on the cat marriage, the mayor and Ahru.

Yeh that is why I mentioned everyone included since I didnt want to spoil it. It may be the angle of the screen since currently in my game Sam is stuck stnaidng under the waiteress in the inn. I found using the "B" key or tactical view helped me in cases where I couldn't click on NPCs. this also happens if they are get stuck during a movement sequence. You can tru move them physically out of their current path to resett them by moving your party backwards and forwards over them a few times.

Are you saying that the quest journal is so bad that you can't trust it to guide you ?
Because yes it's bad.

I've seen it get stuck at this point, but I'm not sure what's going wrong in the scripting. The best thing to do - if you can - is reload to a point just before you give Sam the collar, since it's the trip over to the mayor's house that seems to be where the trouble starts.

re-entering the house solved the problem. I guess i didn't trigger the script the first time. TY for all the helps.

Find and speak to Ahru and talk about the Female kitty to him. I love the conversation in this 1 lol.

They are talking to each other and the quest isn't complete until they are done I guess.
