Crafting a Bow?

I'm getting really low RNG drops for bows, and one of my PCs is a Ranger. So I'm thinking I may want to craft a bow. But I don;t know how. I know how to make a staff, sword, axe, so on, but what is the recipe for a bow?

I think a bow is something like branch + bowstring (bowstring is sinew + sinew). Of course, I think I have yet to run across any sinew....

I've also got a Hunter and I'm beginning to have a harder time playing the character. Arrows are quite good, but it gets expensive to use a specialty one on every draw. I also can't have her cast spells as she's low INT. I'm wondering if maybe I should start playing her like a scoundrel and have her drop behind enemies for backstabbing every now and then.

Enhancing your bow:

Bow + Essence of <element> = Add <element> damage to bow
Bow + Tenebrium Bar = Add Tenebrium damage to bow
Bow + Sextant = Add 2 Perception to bow
Bow + Tormented Soul = Add 2 Dex and 2 Str to bow
Bow + Bowstring = Enhance all existing damage on bow

And yes all of them stack.
And yes you can enhance legendary/unique quality bows
Sinew is very hard to come by so look out for them at vendors and animal corpses
There is an excellent level 14 legendary bow called Heartseeker, can be found in Luculla Forest

problem is that you can find logs, but not sinews
I have 2 bowstrings right now, but I dont want to use them because if I make a bow and enhance it I will never find sinew again, so I am saving it to level 20 to craft a bow then nad then enhance it

kinda sick how easy it is to go back every level to make a new and enhance your axe

Sinew is sold by crafting venders at random. And you can use strong sinew with another strong sinew to make bowstring but not with regular sinews. I can confirm this as lvl 15+.

The bow vendor sells basic arrow heads (no effect) and shafts for cheap. They usually have 30-40 heads and 20 shafts each level up.

Put a poison barrel in your inventory and drag it on top of the stack of basic arrow heads. You now have a stack of poison arrow heads. Combine with the shafts and you now have a stack of poison arrows for cheap.

Do this at each level up from level 2 to 4 before you leave town and you will have well over a 100 poison arrows.

Use a barrel of oil instead and you get slowing arrows.
