After you have defeated the winter king how do you uncover the cryptic secret in his throne room, i have the amulet and am standing over the grate where i located the star stone, am i in the wrong spot? Also, what do i do with the stone with scrptiures?

You are in the right spot, just have to equip the Royal Guard Talisman and wait for a few seconds.

For the chest with scriptures, go back to Cyseal and buy a certain book from Victoria.
