Where can you get lockpicks?

I'm level five still on the first map. I have found a few around but am out. None of the vendors appear to have them and I hate spending 5 minutes blowing down doors with my mage. Plus some locks require stealth. Can you craft them somehow? Is there a vendor somewhere that sells them.

Just search for lockpick recipe,(there are two I believe but one is hard-to-find ingredients (needles) . I usually found enough at vendors though, like the lady upstairs in the Cyseal Inn -- there is another -- in that city as well I believe (enchanter/alchemist maybe). Also some are laying around throughout the world ..many locks have keys.

Just found this on Larian's forum, no mention of merchants though.

[Crafting 2] Lockpicks = Needle + Needle
[Crafting 3] Lockpicks (x4) = Nine Inch Nails + Hammer
[Crafting 2] Lockpicks = Soap + Key (Drag the Soap from the Ground to the key in inventory)

They are fairly common loot in crates and barrels and peoples homes. I just walk around holding the "alt" key to highlight things. I have picked up quite a few.

He's already angry with me due to losing an argument with him. I guess it can't hurt to anger him more. He could go on "vacation" i guess.
