When should I fight Braccus Rex?
I've cleared all of Cyseal and a couple of mobs in Silverglen and went back to fight Braccus but he still completely destroys me at level 9. Is this too early? Should I be freeing the White Witch first or should I be beating Braccus before I head up to Silverglen properly?

Should beat him. Many threads for advice here and at the Larian forums.
Strategies with him usually revolve around battlefield control.
Personally I summoned loads of ice elementals into the combat area and let them die where they stood before I triggered the encounter.
Lots of battlefield control strategies out there.
You can bottleneck him at the door as well.

Can beat him at level 8 on hard using a party of 4, or 2 lone wolves.

There's been many threads on here discussing varies strategies for that fight. Search them.

Church should be your final fight in the Cyseal area, before going to Silverglen, so level 7 or 8 , sneak entire party in on steps UNLINK em all, spread them out some on steps then link em back up. Used a ranged STUN, type on him and keep him disabled whith those types while killin the others, preferably the poison mob first. goes very easy for me that way.

level 9 should be enough for b rex
even been level 10

just do all the quest and you are easy level 9 when you get there, which I now saw that you were lol

donno how he destroys you at level 9, you should have some characters with immunity to fire by then

I managed it with a mixed party of level 7-8s (normal difficulty, I came here a little early as I wasnt quite sure on the optimal path through the game as this is my first playthrough), though it was far from easy and took a lot of reloads to get a working strategy down. My party consisted of a Heavy Tank, Mage, Ranger and Thief

I found smoke screen arrows targeted on my backline members to be a godsend, they stopped Braccus from doing that big AoE meteor shower attack thing he does.

Then I just picked off the bosses one at a time with magic and ranged attacks whilst my tank took the brunt of their assault and spammed cures and potions.

Twins bound by flame or what ever he is called is also quite susceptible to being frozen, so if you have any ice magic you can take him out of action for a few turns whilst you focus on the others.

Kill "the twins bound by fire" first. They leave a patch of insta-kill lava on the ground. The lighthouse ghoul and the skeleton general are not immune to lava. Teleport them onto the lava. :)

Braccus is immne to fire and likes to burn things. Cast rain.

Summons are very good at keeping the bosses occupied. Fire elementals are very good for tanking the twins and braccus since they are healed by fire damage (don't attack themwith the elemental just let them waste their attacks on it).

I actually tried that! It didn't work (didn't find a spot where it allowed me to teleport). In general, I have a hard time teleporting dudes on dudes, usually it doesn't let me.

I beat him. It turns out all I had to do was believe in myself.
