Blood Stones to use or Not
I only have the Lava area and mine left to explore ( in Luculla Forest) .. I have 4 blood stones after healing quests. I have not needed to use them to heal rot or in battle. Do I save them or use them to open rooms ( seems abit of a waste ) but with places still to open ... Do u find enough that automatically opens them ( like the one in the Inniate test area)?

There are only 2 places in the game that you use a bloodstone. Saving that blacksmiths ugly pet in Silverglen and saving a rude wizard after he breaks his leg out in that sandy area of Silverlgne.
After that I would just use them to advance the story and unlock more of the end of time. You can save them for emergency heals if you want but it's better to unlock more of the zones in the end of time right away in my opinion.

Personally I saw no reason to ever save them outside of the 2 afforementioned quests. Rot will never be an issue. As for saving them for a full party heal, that's a decent chocie, but I never ran into a situation in which that would have been useful.

Just dont use them all at once, it can mess things up. Use one then visit the end of time, unlock the room then return to the normal world before using the next.

The wizard died before I got another bloodstone. What did I miss?

The quest can be completed without healing him. If you heal him, He kills the imp and then attacks you. He just skips straight to attacking you if you heal him after completing the quest.
