Mysterious fabric dye still bugged?

I have no idea how I am supposed to use that thing - it doesn't seam to work on cloth scraps, cloth armor or other fabric dyes.

I keep trying it with everything I find and still haven't found a combination.

It's a random dye guys.... It's just a clothing dye that has all colors randomly.

read above it does nothing to armor or the cloth

I dragged it to cloth scraps and was able to create Trethon's Old Robes : lvl20 robe with good armour and stats.

Must've been fixed in a patch.

I got Trethon's Old Robes when combining it with cloth scraps, but when I gave it to my female mage she would always appear completely naked with it, except for boots. Sometimes, although rarely, there would be a small piece of cloth showing at her waist (but not enough to completely cover her panties).

Thankfully, I eventually found some robes better than Trethon's so that she didn't have to go around running naked all the time -_-
