Hi ya. Yeah that's the same for me too, I wasn't getting scratches either so ended up using a walkthrough. I'm not sure but I think asylum has a notebook whether that will include current tasks...and possibly where to go if we're stuck.

Yes, there is a journal in ASYLUM. I played without a walk-through. That was an earlier beta, but the puzzles were not a head-banging throw everything at the wall to see what sticks.

I am a VIP KickStarter Backer and I can tell you it is going to be awesome, Gorgeous graphics, great story and lots of exploration, which I love. I believe there will be a notebook. It has been a long wait - but well worth it.

Hope its not too easy, the fun of puzzle games is that feeling of finally figuring out something on your own. If all the difficulty in puzzles gets removed it just becomes a walking sim which isn't very fun at least to me.
