no one is on multyplayer (no lobbys)

i have had this game fore a litel bit of time and i like it but the multyplayer does not work nether on the beta ore the regular game,ther are no lobbyes and i cant play with any one exept fore bots
can some one help me go on multy player

There use to be a couple of multiplayer Steam groups for the game, but I don't know if they are still active.
Generally during sales a few people post discussions (in the full game discussions) looking for people to play multiplayer.
