is the patch safe

the title basically says all, i recently got the game and learned of the patch's existance, now i'm paranoid as heck so my brain really wants confirmation, i've been on the discord and people have said it's fine and i assume the screenshots were taken with the patch in kagura's website but i'm still paranoid, also why is it an installer just curious

...yeah i'm really starting to think i'm not going to get a reply here, i'm like 75% sure it would be safe, people would definitely be saying something if it wasn't safe, i don't know why i'm so paranoid

thank you for the answer, sometime after i made this post i kinda bit the bullet and just downloaded it anyway, but i'm glad for the reassurance that i probably won't lose my pc for another day
