"Exotic" crossbow schematics (double, repeater crossbow)
Are they included in the game ?

I don't think so.

Unofortunately I never found any more schematics than standard ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ones you can buy in Teron :/ Same thing for armors, and melee weapons. If you want to win fights, don't bother with crafting, alchemy is ten times better.

Why not adding a schematic for at least the scoped one or make the scope an add on to a standard crossbow? it feels pretty stupid to go around with to crossbows when I could just add a scope to my crafted one.

We'll go over Crafting once all the content is in place. Just like we listened to the community to improve Alchemy, we'll listen to your suggestions to improve Crafting.

So, Shaki and Abbo, what do you want to see (other than scopes)?

Well, I'm not shaki92, nor abbo1993, but i kinda like to see finished AoD. I guess that dream will never come true.

Thanks for your answers guys. I'll try a alchemy.

Like abbo1993 I feel a crafter should be able to improve any xbows. Adding a scope or changing the loading mechanism seems realistic.

Other than that,I would love to see craftable arrows/bolt and the exotic schematics I was talking about (quest or a special blacksmith maybe).

Btw gj for your game, I'm having a blast :)

I would love to see some exotic, rare schematics. Not tons of them, but couple of hidden, special ones, something to keep you excited. Crafting same sword/armor through whole game, just with different metal to add 1-2 points of dmg, is kinda underwhelming.
Ability to improve existing weapons, would also be great.

Though overall I'm ok with crafting, because while it is inferior to alchemy when it comes to fighting, there are many skillchecks with it outside of combat. With alchemy you will kill your enemies easier than with crafting, but crafting will let you see more content, and do some pretty amazing things, so overall they're, imho, pretty well balanced.

You mean schematics for unique weapons that you cant buy or find? Like a 'traditional' 2-handed sword, for example, instead of a curved one? I suppose that would be an interesting reward.

I do agree that simply increasing damage or DR is kinda underwhelming, so I thought that we should focus on adding techniques that increase your THC (we already have balanced but I want to tweak it a bit), increase the passive effect, counter-attack, critical chance, etc.

I would also love to be able to upgrade items that I already have. When you do revisit crafting, would you please consider adding upgrades such as scopes for crossbows, reinforcement for shields, maybe spikes for shields and armor, custom made arrows (I sometimes run out of the good ones available through vendors) and whatever else seems to be a realistic weapon/armor upgrade to you... Finding unique schematics would be a blast and could add a couple of simple quests to the game.

We'll definitely consider it. So far everything we've discussed sound logical and doable, the only question is how much time it would take.

I think the crafting sistem could be improved by adding an upgrade system honestly why build 10 different armors and weapons when you could upgrade a good one that fit your style through the whole game? I know that at this point this is fairly improbable but it would make sense from an entirely logical standpoint wich I understand is not in line with the development realities games have to face.

I know it's been said already but, it'd be nice to craft multiple instance of the same item. I tried a crafter-thrower build but I was spending more time crafting than fighting ^^

I second that. Also, ability to craft your own arrows would be nice (is there even a vendor that sells steel/mithril ones)?
Other than that, I feel crafting is rather rewarding on its own right now. At least for a "fighting loremaster" build.
