So, Shaki and Abbo, what do you want to see (other than scopes)?
Like abbo1993 I feel a crafter should be able to improve any xbows. Adding a scope or changing the loading mechanism seems realistic.
Other than that,I would love to see craftable arrows/bolt and the exotic schematics I was talking about (quest or a special blacksmith maybe).
Btw gj for your game, I'm having a blast :)
Ability to improve existing weapons, would also be great.
Though overall I'm ok with crafting, because while it is inferior to alchemy when it comes to fighting, there are many skillchecks with it outside of combat. With alchemy you will kill your enemies easier than with crafting, but crafting will let you see more content, and do some pretty amazing things, so overall they're, imho, pretty well balanced.
I do agree that simply increasing damage or DR is kinda underwhelming, so I thought that we should focus on adding techniques that increase your THC (we already have balanced but I want to tweak it a bit), increase the passive effect, counter-attack, critical chance, etc.
Other than that, I feel crafting is rather rewarding on its own right now. At least for a "fighting loremaster" build.
