Known Issues and Pending Features


Engine Technical Limitations

- Mouse acceleration and speed are different than in windows. No options to tweak it in the menu.
- If you have a very good computer not capping the fps allowing it to go through the roofs in less demanding areas. Turn VSync on for better GPU usage.

Fixes, Changes and Improvements for the upcoming version:

Improvements:

- Updated Ganezzar map, and standarized buttons.
- Improved and expanded game intro.
- New loading screen.
- Added sounds to CS attacks in dialogue.
- Added sounds to Ganezzar.
- Improved some clothing textures.

Fixes:

- Fixed passability issues.
- Fixed journal issues.
- Fixed issue with Miltiades quest being available for all.
- Fixed and improved Hector and Darganus quests.
- Fixed issue with Miltiades quest in Ganezzar when failing to convince Hector.
- Fixed lack of gold from Ganezzar bazaar trader.
- Added missing sounds to some interface buttons.
- Fixed missing highlights for world map icons.
- Updated alchemy and crafting level effects description.
- Fixed collision issues on Zamedi, Inferiae, TG7 and Aemolas village.
- Fixed missing SP at the end of HA questline.
- Fixed several visual issues.

Changes:

- Rebalanced some stores.
- Added some loot at the bottom of Dead River.
- Constructs drop meteor metal, scolopendras and scorpions poison.
- Changed Death Hold No Secrets achievement to 20 screens with 1 character.
- Dead River Fog damages health.
- Tweaked music in several locations.

Combat Balance:

- Tweaked Miltiades Mercs equipment and stats.
- Constructs, scolopendras and scorpions add combat SP.

Don't want to double post from the codex, but I see no mention of the mouse acceleration in the known issues :(

Are you going to add anything to spend the money on? I'm running around with 10k imperials and there is nothing worth buying anywhere, as my crafted items are superior to everything

Not planned (we wouldn't even know where to start at this point). In general, a good crafting system replaces the need to buy things, thus a different money sink is required. Usually it's something entirely different - a house you can buy, stronghold upgrades, custom spells, skill trainers, abilities, etc. In Fallout, for example, you can pay to increase a stat by 1; in Fallout 2 you could pay for dermal implants.

We'll consider different options when everything else is done, but at the moment we don't have any plans.

Excellent. A healer, merchants with inventory, a smith, and we have everything necessary to engage in passionate theological debates in Ganezzar without having to pop over to Maadoran for R&R.
Any chance to get laid in that Maadoran leisure house?

Maps are quite bugged.
Many locations do not get added to the world map even though you've accomplished actions that should unlock them. For example :
- if you return to the starting city later in the game and unlock the quests leading you to the mine and the bandit camp, you can't see them on the world map ;
- if you use the eye and the hand to unlock the portal at the arch, contacting the other world and getting the coordinates of a certain place does not unlock it on the world map (even with the astrolabe and passing the intelligence test) ;
- I was playing a loremaster and followed the traders questline. After reaching the 3rd city and doing some quests for Maru, he wants me to negociate peace with an army man who's at Caer-Tor but I don't have that location on my map -_-
- accessing some locations on a city map should also unlock them at once, like when you get to trader's market/the commercium by choosing to heal during the arena fights, that location doesn't appear on the local map until I go there from the arena ;
- not a map related bug, but in the second arena, if you refuse to heal (as I did because I was full health), you can not continue the fights.

You shouldn't be able to unlock them, they are gone once you arrive to Maadoran. What are the sequence of events that lead to this?
I had so many playthroughs yesterday that I am unsure of the exact sequence of events.
I think I was an Imperial Guard, got sent to Maadoran before being able to do those 2 sidequests, and later when I was in Ganezzar, I wanted more energy tubes for my armor so I checked the usual places,thought of the one in the mines, went back to Teron and talked to the guard chief (?) got the quest but wasn't able to do it :(

Returning to the Terion after doing imperial guard line there I was not able to recover jellyfish artefact in the ruined tower, scripts seem to be in place but you don't get anywhere.

Hey, just noticed that if you have regeneration for some reason it does not work out of combat. In case you loose hp from trap[ or something like that you have to go in combat with reduced hp and run some circles there in order to heal. Think it should get you up to full hp on combat start\end or something like that.
