Do you even need Cha stat?
I didn't play much by peaseful character yet, but my question is - what pros does Charisma stat have? Wouldn't it be more revarding just to max out your Intellect instead, so you could spend more points on dialog skills such as Streetwise, Persuasion and Etiquette? Which backgound can ulilize Charisma cons - for example, can Assasin female use high Charisma to kill somebody?

All Charisma checks I've seen so far used to ask NPCs about their past. That's cool for one playthrough, but only for one.

There are a couple of charisma checks and a few charisma+streetwise or charisma+persuasion checks in the game. However, with a low charisma you don't miss out on much, other than a bit of training from listening to people's backgrounds and the chosen one achievement (which requires a 9 charisma). If you're doing the merchant's guild quests it's a good idea to have a high charisma, but it's not really needed for the other paths.

even in assassins quests there is a lot of cha cheks.
if you want to use talking skills a lot, then charisma is better than intellect. for example in Terron, 1st assassin quest with spies, with char 6 you can get reports by persuasion 2, otherwise you'll need persuasion 4(if char 4), or 8 perception or steal 3

It affects not only things mentioned above, but it literally affects how much each faction likes you, and how many points you get for those stats on your character sheet.

Charisma is checked in dialogues, it unlocks extra dialogues, often leading to training, and it modifies your reputation with factions.

Correct me if I'm wrong Vince, but aren't there a lot of hidden charisma checks in dialogues all thoughout the game?

Ok, it would be useful for Trader and maybe Grifter or Drifter. Can other classes/backgrounds utilize high Cha stat?

IIRC, you cannot get "Chosen One" status without having a charisma of 10.

Charisma 9 is enough.

While it's true high CHA nets you extra training, it's also true that there's a butt-load of skill points available all over. IMO, CHA is the lowest return stat of all. Take those points and put them in INT for dialogue lovers and combat-related stats for killers.

That's the beauty of this game, at least for me; there are so many different ways to play the game and get things done.

I just don't get the benefits of reputation of the houses yet. With high rep they give you quests?

Someone else will hopefully correct me if this is wrong, but there are few House reputation checks. I've ignored them entirely whenever playing, except to see how far into the negative I can get by burning down their compound and murdering the guildmaster. Basically, the faction you belong to will go positive, several of the ones you don't will skew negative.

Thats why I can't get, is there any profit from Cha modificator for faction reputation. Maybe there are routes, in which you can work on everybody not just on one faction?

There are definitely routes where you can double-cross a faction and switch, even multiple times, but there isn't any "work on everybody" option. That's, like, seven different groups. There are many different options, but doors do close as you progress.

So, the only gameplay value of reputation is if it is in "-" or in "+"?
