The guard on the roof, on the other hand, does HP damage at CS3, but CS4 clears him without a scratch. The guard in hallway by the bedroom also requires CS4 to get past. Unfortunately, I got pinned by the bars in display room (AoD has 1001 ways to kill you :) ), so haven't cleared the palace.
Right now I'm poking Flavius for the second time (got critted the first one). It seems with poison and arm attacks the fight shouldn't be too difficult - I got him to "badly wounded" before the crit.

And who said that money are the problem in Teron :)
Please clarify what do you neeed 8 INT for? I know only about The grain of truth quest (Storyteler) and some information gains. For abyss, library and some other places 7 is enough (sometimes combined with lore/crafting). What am I missing?
By the way, thanks for the really great guide. I'll definitely consult with it
1. Start with 3(+1) Lockpick and 3 sneak. While infiltrating steal armor in guard house, then go up from the stone tower, crit kill 2 guards, kill Flavius & get another armor (you'll need i guess 50+ in crit to kill the last guard). So it' +2 crit and 2 iron armors which are useful at this point
2. When Dealing with Feng, consider your options:
Feng way will lead you to Aemolas gold which is
+ 5(6) SP
+ some gold
+ 5 SP for new location
+ 2 combat skill
+ good deal of body count
Or Crassus way will give you:
+ 5(6) SP for Grain of truth quest
+ 1 Crafting, +1 Lore and + 1 I guess Etiquete or equal civil points. which means economy of 10 SP
3. Don't go to Maadoran with Aurelian spy, kill it having 4 in crit & get much needed +1 crit (training not rating) for successful infiltration. Then do other things and proceed with assassins missions. When you eventually get to Maadoran, take the first quest from Darista, but don't talk to Hamza yet!, then go to Domitius and tell Gaelius that you want to serve him, you'll get Darius Tomb quest and eventually become Aurelian Praetor. This is as intended (the dialog will reveal it).
And now this is obviously a bug but after doing this you'll still be able to complete the first Maadoran assassins quest. So do it you dirty cheater. Oh yes and don't forget to recieve training from one of those guys
This way you'll get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of extra SP
4. Peaceful body count resolution of second militades fight gives you extra +5(6) SP
5. Contrary to this kill raiders after criting their leader. They're not tough and will be wounded after crit skill check. Just rush for the archer and whirlwind everything from there
6. Don't sneak in Aurelian outpost, poison them with your 2 in alchemy and Crit first guard. You'll get 2 rather easy battles instead of one tough. Though Crossbowman drives me nuts... Bolas the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ first than deal with the other two
7. Livia event battle solution actually gives you +2 combat points not 1 + some loot, so consider this option.
Maadoran
8. Leave Zamedi demon for later and kill him using 6 crit in the process. +4 combat points won't hurt (you'll still get the other +12)
9. When dealing with Inferiae you can kill them for +2(?) combat points or erase them with tower defence system for +12 SP (needed 8 lore which you should have at this point)
10. Old site. You need extra 25 SP to train Lore from 8 to 9, and the outcome would be only +12. So why would you do that?
11. In Ganezzar kill Hector not Pancratius. This way You'll be able to complete Militades quest without streetwise check. And more than that the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ will end up in the lowtown where his actual place is.
SO now it' actually complete. This way I got all the artifacts and unique weapons. The only thing I couldn't do was repairing blue steel smelter for +12 SP with my 2 extra power tubes and 8 lore as those Daratan ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ won't let me in with 6 Daratan rep. Need some workaround on this. But anyway I ended up with 10 in Weapon, Dodge, Crit and Craft so it's not that important

I'd start with a Loremaster background and join the AG from there. For the body count requirement, go to the thugs around the Tavern and lure them back to the Tavern's doorway so you just fight them 1v1. Even with just 4 points in both Dodge/Dagger, I killed them(and most of the time with no reload necessary).
To maximize the Feng/Crassius shuffle: Go to Crassius and use the other checks to make him "leave" without murdering him. Then go to Feng and get the bonus points from him, then to Crassius for his(well, if you have enough rep that is. You need 10). This way, you only lose Loyalty and not Word of Honor. Get the WoH bonus by honoring your deal with Esbenus, so you can get Aemolas' quest.
It seems you did the same thing for the Maadoran Shuffle. Yeah, I think it's a bug too.
Edit: reworded so it doesn't look like you get Loyalty from Esbenus deal.
Well it's a very interesting notice on Feng/Cassus conflict, I'll look into it.
But regarding Infiltration I can't agree.
First in a long run you'll need Lockpicking, Lore and Crafting. To train them from 3 to 4 you need 10*3 = 30 SP OR you can put only 15 SP into sneak to get them for free (if Feng stays, otherwise it's only crafting and 10 SP saving). And later as an Aurelian praetor you'll need either 3 streetwise or 4 sneak to get to Ordu, it's unavoidable (battle with everyone in Harran's pass didn't seem doable for me with 10 dodge, 8 weapon and 6 crit and unique equip). You can get only +1 streetwise for free with CHA4 from Kamnebi I guess and you'll have 3 in sneak anyway, so it's 10 SP regardless. 3 in streetwise allows you to resolve exploding package peacefully for 6 SP instead of 2(1?) combat points and 4 sneak will give some interesting extra options in Teron so here are some options
Second, Infiltration gives you +1 crit rating for every crit check and +6 SP in the end (+1 combat if you kill Flavius or +1 (or even +2, don't remember) for slaves) and what's more important it can be performed without any points in Sneak/Lockpicking, using only crit. So it is a must anyway

As for strength, strength makes a big difference in melee damage overcoming armor. I'd argue the two strongest melee weapons routes are daggers or two handed axes, and 10 AP is plenty for both of those builds(5 fast attacks at 2AP or 2 fast attacks at 5AP). Arguably for swords or spears 12 AP may be worth the strength loss (as generally you will be using 3AP fast attacks), but I haven't crunched the numbers and low strength builds can really struggle against armored foes.
However, I'd argue that 7 intelligence is actually the preferred cut off instead of 8 in almost all circumstances. Very few events of note require 8 intelligence rather than 7, and 7 enables access to all endings and all lore content. I'd rather take that extra point and throw it into more strength.
The exception is crossbow assassins, which I think is one of the most dominant builds in the game at 4/10/6/8/8/4 using the hand crossbow and later the bolt gun. Assassins get +15 to ranged attacks, and crossbows don't use strength in their damage calculations. Plus, they are able to pivot easily into the IG questline or the Aurelian praetor questline.
Finally, if you don't care about those particular endings but you want a true hybrid killer with access to the abyss and all accessible lore, you can get there with perception 7, intelligence 7 starting as a loremaster. I did this as a melee loremaster/thief/praetor with the following results:

And the final battle is the only one you should be concerned about. So I would recommend against daggers, everything else seems to work in the final battle (bleeding included). But axes are plain simple and effective
