How to use console to add skillpoints?

Hi all, at the second city, done all the non combat quests my merchant can do (he cannot survive in combat, only a talker). Unfortunatly I am kinda stuck, I am at Lady Lorenza but am missing 1 skill point in order to raise my Trade & Persuasion both to 7 since no matter what I do, 7/6 doesn't work. Alas there are zero more quests for me to do that I can see (only ones I see require combat which is a no go).

As such can anybody advise on how to access console (~ above tab doesn't work for me) and what the command is to add 1 skill point? Any help would be appreciated!

Open the console ( ~ key), type addSP(100); and hit Enter.

Thanks Vince, fortunatly I found out I do not have to resort to console commands \o/ Got some additional for "handing" in the 2 other patrons I already secured so should be good. Appreciate the response though!

Hello I have a frustrating problem & am hoping for a way to fix with out redoing 10s of hours of play?

I have got 1point to few in Cha. I can / could have reduced dex by one but didn't know I needed to until now - rather not redo a weeks game play or more.

Looked re console commands - yes "an easy way out" but I game to relax. Googled and got to some stuff on the Iron Tower forums but it does not appear to work in the relased game ?

Then I found this discussion and noted that the Skill points "Fix" was also different from that listed on the Iron Tower Forum - Help Please.

Second help please - got my 1 word of honour but still no refugee gold quest - since I spoke to him less than an hour in is there a way to force this open, revel the location etc??
