Number of possible endings? (no spoilers please though)

Hi,

I just bought the game and have been having fun as Praetor of House Dartana. I guess the game can be replayed at least 8 times (once for each background) so I congratulate the devs for succeeding in providing such variety and making you feel that you are in different situation every time. But I am also interested if there is some set number of like major endings to look for? I guess even despite of that the journey can still be very different even inside a background based on how many solutions you usually have to problems. :)

EDIT: Also, how many chapters there are in total? Not that it's a big deal but I'm interested to know how far in a playthrough I approximately am.

3 cities - 3 chapter, plus the endgame chapter. 13 different endings, not counting faction endings.

Thank you. :) You have just confirmed that I made the right decision in buying the game. I am looking forward to any possible extra content. It would be nice because as it is right now I feel that the game world has potential for a lot of other fun stories.
