Look for Item ID in the file itemtext.english.xml

Look for the file scripts.aod in the game dir, then \data\core\itemtext.english.xml inside it.

do you also happens to know how to trigger the refugess outside teron's gate again? I did maadoran before encountering this and would like to do the side quest. Alternatively, do we have a console command to teleport me back into maadoran? I've been exiled and can't get back

Console commands exists, yes. But in your case it will ruin game logic most likely. I strongly don't recommend to do it.

I would like to access the item list to update the Wiki (screen caps, flavour texts...).
Unfortunately, the paths and the file extensions seem to have changed.
Can anyone help me?

under \core, I have \scripts.
the file extensions end with .dso and largely unreadable with Notepad.
