Sarpedon died on his feet

This is a minor bug that I've never seen before.

When my character delivered the death blow Sarpedon continued to stand there, fully armed.

When I realized he was dead I looted the corpse (the screenshot is post looting).

I've saved the game if it's needed.

This reminds me of the kind of things that happen when you run low on ram (I only have 8 gigs and there have been weird windows updates lately) so it may not be the game, though I haven't had problems like this in six or seven years.
