Not sure if there's anything different if you actually fight (didn't try it on Ordu's side).
Grooved sphere: dlgAddItem(2110, 1)
When I fight Bass I get sucked into dialog before being able to loot him, Kirinyale's method is probably the way to go. Or just start with a background that gets the sphere in the opening. Or just stop obsessing about the sphere.
I mean, I'm a failure in life gotta be a little better in game or at least achieve the best I can for my digital counterparts. Sorry. ♥
It's a brutal world, though. I like the fact that the background that gives you a hard road surounded by enemies and no meaningful friends past the starting city, with the skimpiest rewards for overcoming your challenges, ends up with you crucified and the IG drinking your milkshake that you moved heaven and earth to set up. Because of course that's what they'd do. Meanwhile a drifter can barely lift a finger and just follow his curiosity and become a god by being in the right place at the right time.
Thank's for that console command. I played the game for the better part of 15 hours before I got to the secret room at the library. I am playing the assassin path, and I know for certain I got the sphere at the very start. Yet it was not in my inventory. I went to past saves, including just after the first mission, and it was not in my inventory for some reason. I was about to lose my mind, even after finding a list of console commands. The one that worked that you listed is different from the page, where the amount comes first and not second. Now I may proceed without giving up entirely.
