The grooved sphere (need cheat)
IF I join Gaelius in the ordu pass, can anyone tell me how can I get the grooved sphere? I came back to the cmap to fight the 4 imperials (including the guy that is the captain of the ordu pass itself), but I could not loot him. So, who has the damn grooved sphere?

Second question: can you give me a cheat to get it?

I got a grooved sphere from my first ever encounter both as a Drifter and a Loremaster. It was on the merchant with the map. I on the other hand have not survived the first town with any but a merchant character.

I think when I took the option to let Ordu fight the guards on their own (i.e. "I'm the envoy, I'm too important to die like that!"), I came to the pass after the fight, and there was a short moment to loot Centurion Bass' body (pre-killed) before speaking to Ordu leaders. He had the sphere.

Not sure if there's anything different if you actually fight (didn't try it on Ordu's side).

Man, you're really kinda obsessed with.the god ending, huh. It's ok, no one will think less of you if you don't end every single game that way.

When I fight Bass I get sucked into dialog before being able to loot him, Kirinyale's method is probably the way to go. Or just start with a background that gets the sphere in the opening. Or just stop obsessing about the sphere.

You are not wrong at all Shining Hector. The problem is that any other ending is a bad ending for my character. Living in a world like that is really really scary. It would be, at least for me.

I mean, I'm a failure in life gotta be a little better in game or at least achieve the best I can for my digital counterparts. Sorry. ♥

Aw, don't take it so personally. The endings are to tell a story, not to reward you for playing the game for a few hours. There's pretty good other endings for your character anyway, most of the IG endings lead to quick promotion, a little funny since they probably have more exisiting people on the ball to start with to pick from than anyone else, but then again they're expanding.

It's a brutal world, though. I like the fact that the background that gives you a hard road surounded by enemies and no meaningful friends past the starting city, with the skimpiest rewards for overcoming your challenges, ends up with you crucified and the IG drinking your milkshake that you moved heaven and earth to set up. Because of course that's what they'd do. Meanwhile a drifter can barely lift a finger and just follow his curiosity and become a god by being in the right place at the right time.

Thank's for that console command. I played the game for the better part of 15 hours before I got to the secret room at the library. I am playing the assassin path, and I know for certain I got the sphere at the very start. Yet it was not in my inventory. I went to past saves, including just after the first mission, and it was not in my inventory for some reason. I was about to lose my mind, even after finding a list of console commands. The one that worked that you listed is different from the page, where the amount comes first and not second. Now I may proceed without giving up entirely.
