Miltiades- Kill or Don't Kill?

I just killed the two thugs Miltiades led me to, and then killed the merchant and his two thugs Miltiades sent to me. Now I'm at the part where I can either kill Miltiades in town or let him give me 400-something gold and escape to Malderaan. Idk if I misspelled that or not, and frankly I don't care either way. The big city you go to after finishing things in the crappy little town, how's that? Anyway my question is, is it more profitable (both money and story-wise) for me to just kill him and get the gold, or spare him and meet up with him again in the big city? I don't want to do anything that will jeopardize my playthrough with the Imperial Guard in any way, so if he screws up the Imperial Guard questline I'll just have to kill him here. But if he doesn't I might like to make some more gold off of him before he dies (he's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so he IS going to die, the question is when would be the best time to do it)

He won't screw up any faction questlines, so you don't have to worry about it. You can look him up in Maadoran and then he'll follow you to the third town.

In most playthroughs I kill him because of how my character would react, but honestly his quests in Ganezzar are pretty amusing and you're always given the option to take him out in every encounter if you're tired of his schemes and antics.

To be honest - you can't do it in Ganezzar which is making Darganus fate is too bad unfortunately.
