Lmao so true. How tight can you get.

It's an indie game..

Use what little brain power you have and google a review next time..

That will save your precious $3.
So in the future nobody may ever complain about a game again because they should have googled a review ?
Reviews aren't everything.
It's not because the game only costs $3 that you can't give criticism and call it a bad game that's not worth its money.

I wonder how much some of you would pay for a "choose your own adventure" slideshow program/game called dlc quest 2. 3 or 4 dollars maybe? The gameplay would be simple, but there would be "SATIRE"! wonderful, gravy filled "SATIRE".
The people who dont like dlc quest must not get the joke......so, since i am so smart and get that its a "SATIRE" i will tell everyone how awesome it is so that no one will think I didnt get the joke.
Sarcasm....Its in the same food group as satire.....
I take it you're not into the Visual Novel genre.
I pay good money for "choose your own adventure" games. Assuming I think I'll like them of course.

Ah... I still remember picking up Nitro+'s Phantom from a Borders bookstore.

$2.00 standard price. You call it overpriced.

Overpriced.

That word. I don't think it means what you think it means...

Overpriced means a product costs more than it "should", it has nothing to do with the value itself. A Ferrari is "just a car", therefore it "should" cost around the same as most other cars. But Ferraris aren't considered overpriced, because people agree it "should" cost more, due to several factors, such as prestige.

OP's point is that this game isn't worth $2, not that he can't afford $2. As for me, I watched a LP on youtube, and my impression is that it relies too much on the satire, with no real gameplay to speak of. The LPer spent nearly all of his time walking from one powerup/joke to the next. While I was satisfied with the video alone, I'm sure the LP convinced other people who wouldn't otherwise be aware of the game to buy it.

I think the price of this game is good for those who think the laughs are worth $2 (the jokes are indeed funny), but someone expecting actual platforming (like me or the OP) would be disappointed no matter the price.

Then why buy it???

Use ur brain...

You cannot expect everyone to do the thinking you. Like any bad product in any market, it simply takes an idiot to buy them.

From my experience, reviews are everything.

Every steam game i go to buy has a "should i buy it thread" in the forum.

Where it is more than likely you can find someone intelligent enough to give you a good idea of what the game is actually like.

If you blind buy, then dont complain. Stupid consumers are the only ones keeping bad products on the market.

However this game has mixed reactions, take it for the grain of sand it is. Some people liked it some didnt.

yea and this thread answers that question. so why are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?

by your logic, we should read reviews before buying anything but we also mustn't make a bad review. sounds like a catch-22

You sir are an idiot.

A child throwing a tantrum does not count as a review..

The "$3.00 dollars is nothing; you're stupid/poor" argument completely misses the point that it isn't hard to come by enough money for the game, but the experience of the game simply isn't worth much of anything in the first place. Anyone who doesn't acknowledge this is deliberately twisting the clear meaning for the sake of mocking the OP. Get real.

-applaus-

Every time someone parrots an anti-OP argument, I see this buddy-buddy congratulatory behaviour traded between people, usually followed by condescending, casual chatter about how pathetic the OP is. I'm almost inclined to say it serves to invalidate the tactics of the argument, since it is almost completely about being disparaging without actually addressing any points. It is knowingly rude and exclusionary, not to forget filled with all sorts of unwarranted pride.

I'm not here to armchair the ♥♥♥♥ out of you, but, like, come on. Are you all really this blind to your own actions? Do you really think this is actually any more mature than whatever the OP may have done to get you riled?

More of congraduating people who have the ideal mind. Both arguementative and respective. So yes I praise those who have a mind that thinks about it in both sections. I have respected both sides of the party but only if they have a vlalid arguement. Calling it "trash", "garbage" does not make a valid arguement.

I made several lengthy posts about why I think this game is trash and garbage. All the while you provided zero content but only made-up lies about who you're supposedly friends with.

Oh. I did not know you knew me offline or knew prior. So how do you do know about me and my friends' relationships?

I did a bit of research when you started aggrandizing yourself with the connections and skills you allegedly had. Then I started feeling sorry for the life you have, Nick. Enjoy playing GMod and obsessing over your animuuh

I find this quite enjoyable and hilarious that you know so "much about me". Which truth be told, you know absolutely nothing about me. I have a quite grand life thanks. :D Because I get new friends daily. I am very blessed. So no put downs will stop me.

In the end so what about "animuuh'. Seems you have a few games that are "animuuu' games :P
