Can't get the death of comedy pack

I went to the spot the dlc pack is at and tried over and over to get it, is it because of the pickaxe and if so how do I get rid of it??? Plz help. Trying to 100% the game

You have to talk to Lamp the Comedian over and over again until he says "I am error".
After this, go the dark zone and explore until you find this ledge on the far left of the map. In there, will be the DLC.
