Getting the game

Im planning on getting Ultimate Doom on Steam. Is there any glitches or problems I need to know before getting it? or should I get Doom 2?

I ended up getting Doom 2. I think I made a good choice, pretty hard game though.

I STRONGLY recommend doom 2 over ultimate doom, simply because most mods are for doom 2, along with maps. In the end you will get more content with doom 2.
