Okay, so I'm using a Mac and I'm trying to get this whole "Brutal Doom," thing to work for me because, up until yesterday I did not even know it existed. Now seeing as I need a WAD file in order to go about playing said "Brutal Doom," I thought "Why don't I just buy it off of steam, because that's better than not paying for a game I love," and in my complete blind stupidity and utter lack of paying attention to detail I went ahead and bought DOOM II: Hell on Earth, which only works on Windows. Which is, arguably, stupid. Why is this not aviable on Mac? I seriously need someone to hold my hand through this whole process because on my own I've only managed to throw $5 down the toilet because I am stupid.

TL;DR I am not smart enough to figure out how to Mac, someone help, for the love of god. I offer my Kidney or first born child if they can help me sucessfully get this working for me.

I have both GZdoom and Zandium and neither one of them works.

Do you specifically have the derivative version that is meant to work for Mac?

I downloaded Zandroum for Mac, it just does not work. I switched to my brother's Window PC and it freaking works.

Hmm. It should, the sourceports are meant to run on Mac too.

I'm justing going to give up on getting it to work on my Mac because I am throughly convinced I am just not smart enough to do anything on a Mac.

It doesnt work because you need an iwad to play, the iwads are included with the installation of Doom and Doom 2

I'm also trying to get Doom 2 for Mac so that I can try the Brutal Doom mod. I have GZDoom and I already purchased Doom 2 off of Steam. However, because Doom 2 is not compatible for Mac, I can't install it and since that I can't install it, I can't access the iWAD files of Doom 2.
