However if you're looking for a source port to run the game, here are a few that I recommend that are also on Mac.
Chocolate Doom http://www.chocolate-doom.org/wiki/index.php/Downloads - A source port that faithfully re-creates the vanilla Doom experience running under MS-DOS.
ZDoom http://zdoom.org/Download - A modernized source port that utilizes newer features such as higher resolution modes, mouselook (as in being able to aim up and down), uncapped frame-rate, and more.
GZDoom https://alexey-lysiuk.github.io/gzdoom/ - Similar to ZDoom but uses OpenGL rendering with other graphical features.
Zandronum https://zandronum.com/download - A successor to the then Skulltag source port that's akin to ZDoom and GZDoom but supports online multiplayer.
