I think the Icon of Sin was a rushed idea.
I think the level itself was more rushed as opposed to the spiderdemon. Dis is mostly a large empty arena. Like the first episode had the boss barons and then a bunch of pinkies in the off areas. Then the second episode had the boss cyberdemon and then a bunch of lost souls in the off areas.
Dis only has two cacodemons and a baron in the off areas. It just seems like there should be MORE monsters than just three plopped down in the corners.
The actual Icon of Sin itself I feel the same way about. The fight with it isn't that interesting or challenging, bit the Icon itself is a cool idea
Yeah the icon is a VERY cool idea. Shame it became just a wall. lol
