Help: doom 1 wads don't work in prboom+
So every time I try to open a wad with prboom+ that uses doom II or boom I have no problem, but when I try to open Ultimate Doom or any wad that uses Ultimate doom or previous versions of doom I the port insted launches the original Doom II. How can I fix this problem?

Remove or rename DOOM2.WAD and put the desired IWAD in its place.

Thanks, I solved the problem creating two folders, both with all the prboom+ archives in it, but one with the Ultimate doom wad and the other with the Doom II wad, now I can run doom I and doom II wads with the respective folder, but there is still a problem with a specific wad that uses doom II stuff but it's made to run like a fifth episode of ultimate doom so this wad doesn't work in either of the two folders, it run perfectly ok in gzdoom but can't run it in prboom+.

AFAIR, you can explicitly specify IWAD to use with -iwad command-line parameter. Just make RSP-file with all needed options and run game with it.

And what is a name of that very specific WAD?

One called: Doom: The Lost Episode (lostepis.wad). Released in 16/01/2009.

This WAD is not PrBoom-compatible. It utilises specific features either of ZDoom or Eternity engine. So, it should be played with one of those source-ports.
You, probably could still run it with PrBOOM in a forceful way, but couple of map objects will work wrong, and game menu will not give you the 5th episode in thiis case. So, -warp only.

Oh, I see, thanks.
I start playing wads for first time like a week ago, so I'm still figurine out how ports and wads works, any way thanks for the help.

In general, sane modders put a text file to the archive along with WAD. Always read that files, because it usually stated what source-ports had to be used. Sometimes even version number is important for the required features to work properly.
If no source-port is specified it usually targeted for vanilla. But there are exceptions.
Also new generation of the modern modders is a bit lazy and rarely document those things. But they usually work with modern ZDoom or dreivatives, so you'll see PK3 instead of WAD. And that's distinctive.
