Best Doom Wad Campaigns Suggestions?

I am trying to look for suggestions on really fun Doom stories/campaigns out there.

Mainly I am trying to find ones as good as Extermination Day?
I mainly really enjoyed the start Mars maps and quite a bit of the hell maps. (City ones were a mixed bag, although fun just overall annoying)


I've done one that adds in new areas to Doom and Doom 2, can't remember that name but that was also really neat. -Trying to give a perspective of things I'm looking for.

depending on how hard you want the wad to be, you could try something like Sunlust.

there's also Alien Vendetta.

both of these are considered amongst the best pwads made to my knowledge.

I'll have to give them a try.
As for hard, I'm doing Extermination Day on Last Man of Earth though annoying I dont think I've really came into a point where I think something was just otter bs.

I'll have to look at those next once I'm done with Extermination Day (4 maps to go and its getting painful :|)

The only other major story I've played was something revolving a star port and then using it to go to earth and going through dorm rooms and such... for the life of me I cant remember the name of that one.

I've played a few interesting mods in my day.

Suspended in Dusk is a great mini wad of high quality maps.

Cold as hell is a little bit of a conversion mod but it's pretty solid and difficult.

The Ultimate DooM 2 is currently in development on the ZDooM forums and is a great wad.

The Ultimate Torment And Torture is one made by the realm667 team i'm pretty sure, and is another of my personal favs.

Also check out the Hadrons one and two. (hope this helps :P)

I finished Avactor recently and thought the jungle theme was pretty cool.

Another fun one was Winters Fury.

Edit: Forgot to mention Epic 2 for a great egyptian adventure.

I'm guessing you play brutal doom so maybe try sergeant marks brutal doom64 its very atmospheric and fun to play like extermination day.. have fun!!
