Awesome game, rough English translation, let me help you fix it.

Stumbled onto this gem somehow somewhere, and I absolutely love it. Taps into the same parts of my brain that love Fear & Hunger and Pathologic.

My only complaint is that the English translation is of poor quality with many grammatical errors and generally poor use of Middle English vernacular.

As a fellow Balkan creative (Varna native), currently studying English at the University of London, especially Medieval and Early Modern works, I'd be happy to proofread the script for you.

As a native english speaker without a specified education in language and it’s history I did not notice any errors. Could you post some examples?

"Ye" used for singular throughout when it should be only for plural and honorific. Plenty of instances of incorrect conjugation and use of pronouns ("thee" and "thou" mixed up in places and the like).
Along with some general overlooked grammatical errors in regular English.
I'll give it the KJV treatment while leaning more modern in cases that would be too incomprehensible or awkward-sounding with fully accurate Early Modern English.

I kept noticing this as well! At times it broke my immersion and made the dialogue difficult to understand. Not totally story or game breaking, but definitely detracts from the experience.

A little extra polish would take the game to a whole new level.

As someone with an MA who spent a not insignificant amount of time studying Early Modern literature, I’d also be happy to lend the developers another set of eyes!
