Yah the bus part confuses a TON of people.
Your mouse is the focus and read tool.
You need to focus on the poster for Cherry Peaks and read it to get the information for the bus. Your character will say the route out loud. I would also focus and read the other stable poster too, if only so it's done and maybe you won't have to do it later pending how the game is updated. There is a poster for a second barn, a job thing and dorm plus a few other misc items. While there is nothing to do there yet at the other barn but walk around outside it does seem to be a future area planned so...
The posters are on a bulletin board by the university gate up the road from the bus stop. Follow the curve
If memory serves: Focus is right mouse click. Read/ interact is left mouse click. You can also choose which option via scrolling with the mouse wheel or using the key board if there is more than one on a particular poster then left click with that option highlighted select that option.
There will be a small icon for the mouse telling you what to press when you are pointed at/ over an intractable item/ object
In small text there are key board commands in the top left of your screen for general controls. Any text over the posters showing options once focused is small and almost translucent... so pending your graphics hard to read.
Once your character has commented on the bus route go back to the bus stop and focus on the sign for the routes and activate in the same way.
You will be transported to the place you have selected from the bus stop. If at the Plainebelle stable refocus on the stop and use the wheel to go to Cherry peeks it is the only one where there is anything to do at this time.
Once at Cherry Peaks go up the hill then left along the front of the big building and barn until you get to the board outside a riding ring. Read the lesson poster in the same way as above. Do all lessons. Once complete you can "rent" the 2 horses you meet in lessons.
What you can do with them is confined to what they have assigned for the day. This is on a poster in the barn and changes every real world day.
There is nothing else to do at this time in game so deffinatley do the lessons until you can rent the horses.
check out Bitapetrone's youtoube vids for dressage and the in game books with tab/ escape after your lessons or during your rides. The dressage book breaks down the controls for dressage in game
I'm ok at dressage but this is the first game I've had to put even a quarter the effort I am to figuring out striding for jumping. The jumping is the hardest part for me. No good tips really that have helped me. Just time and practice so far still struggling a bit. Esp with Blaze as she rushes the fences in general more than Tati
