so why not find some fellow talent and make something together....you can learn so much from eachother.
and also, idk how old you are, but where do you get the ermm confidence to state stuff like:
"a massive arsenal of deadly weapons"
what? 5? 7? 10? thats what you call massive or is it actually rivaling borderlands.....
"Fossilfuel 2 is the highly-anticipated sequel to the indie game Fossilfuel, and it promises to deliver an experience like no other."
Is it highly anticipated? by whom? and an experience like no other.....really? you really think you can claim that?
"Rich Lore, a gripping narrative"
Honestly? you think you are THAT good of a writer?
"uncover the truth at sierra research facility"
I mean that right there should show you are not that good of a writer, what a generic line....an AI could have written that...and its so nonsensical as well because what is the lie suppose to be?....
"challenging AI" again, really? What like FEAR? with AI actually calling out tactics and flanking etc? you actually build an AI model that is basically better then 99% of the games out there?
"multiple endings" ok, so how far does that extend, do we end with a different cutscene with person A being there instead of person B but for the rest its all the same...and why do you think anyone really wants multiple endings anyway, its a stupid as Starfield with there 3000 planets nonsense.
Im sorry for being this negative but man its insane to me you somehow found the self confidence to make such ridiculous claims.
Dude, let the people do their phrases, nearly every game has it. Yes, even GTA (Remastered). It's called marketing. I don't like it it, too, but please, judge such games by their own merits.
It was highly anticipated by me, for example, because I respect and marvel at every attempt to make not just another citybuildroguelikefarmsimclickersurvivalcraft not even trying to deliver something like basic level design or a coherent atmosphere.
never said it didnt, I said it LOOKED really bad.
you own about 3000 games and seemingly only run them for achievements....so what value does you "anticipating" have?
Also clicker heroes is completely free run in the background stuff, idk how you can possible compare them.....
Well when you get older you stop "giving things a try" because you have done so plenty in the past and was disappointed 90% of the time sooo.
and also explain pls how my library and playtimes mean I cannot offer a worthwhile game insight, I know its just a dumb attempt to insult but if you want to keep some credibility, do offer some arguments.
Pretty sure I have a large library of terrible games as well as really good ones and I have actually played them as well.
You got me - I've made a really bad argument about that clicker stuff. I've never played an idle game so I hadn't in mind that they're not played activly. So, this was dumb. Should remind me that I should take only things as an argument I have knowledge about.
In general it's a valid strategy to look up the taste from someone who criticize something to contextualize that criticism. So, for example, if someone leaves a bad review for a 90s fps saying something like "these are all overly complex mazes, I get lost all the time, also the autosave doesn't work and there isn't enough cover to hide from the enemies", and that persons game library is full of hentai puzzles, idlers, copypaste-roguelikes and trivial simulators, then you know his or her expertise in gaming isn't worth a penny, as well as his or her taste ... ok, in this case you could already tell by the review, but you know what I mean.
Looking at your profile there's a trend for spending thousands upon thousands of hours in multiplayer games, which could be interpreted as if you're someone who has no problem doing the same things over and over again without getting bored. That could be an indicator for your taste being nothing too reliable, but in fact I don't think so, as I'm not into multiplayer and can miss something that makes it worthwile.
No, I think you've played a lot of games that are really good, besides something like for example the Dungeon Defender titles, which are boring and tedious grindfests.
But someone who played Realms of the Haunting (and hopefully enjoyed it) cannot have a bad taste in gaming, full stop.
Which makes it even weirder why you came in here rambling about a game you haven't played at all.
Look, I guess we both know what games like Fossilfuel are about. These are campy, b- or c-list games for trash aficionados. Like watching some 80s slasher or crude 70s horror movie, not expecting more than a few laughs and some simple fun, but sometimes getting surprised in how well it works and how much dedication and creativity lies in such projects. Maybe even get some chills, scares or genuine surprises out of it.
You've played Necrovision, you know the drill. (I loved Necrovision btw).
So, why? Let your anger out on titles which deserve it; there are plenty of it. Soulless titles by the numbers which gets way too much attention ... cough .. Palworld.
And what I really don't get is why you're thinking I'd play games for achievements? I don't. I don't mind them when they come naturally, and being a completionist sometimes in terms of doing all the sidequests in rpgs or finding all secrets in fps they may come in numbers. But I seriously think the fun in games should come intrinsical and not extrinsical in form of completion rates or other systems topped on top of the games itself.
So I don't know what gave you the impression I only let games "run for the achievements". Nope, I usually play them from start to finish and then the next one after watching the credits.
And btw, I have a really good taste in videogames, so my "anticipating" does indeed have some value. :p (that's only half true, I obviously love trash games)
Don't you afraid Sony going to DMCA you? You have a guy from Killzone Mercenary's cover on your game cover.
