it actually has hundreds of players just on the matchmaking servers :) and much more on just regular servers ( EU )

I saw a lot of germans and french servers.

Elite(matchmaking): 230 players (only on EU servers)
Elite: 15 players (only on EU servers)
royal: 19 players (only on EU servers)
heroes: 0 players
combo: 4 players (EU server)
melee: 4 players (EU server)
battle: 6 player (only on EU servers)
siege: 11 players (only on EU servers)
joust: 3 players (EU server)
obstacle (custom game mode): 75 players (only on EU servers)
instaDM (custom game mode): 36 players (only on EU servers)
combo (custom game mode): 1 player (EU server)
infection (custom game mode): 21 players (EU server)

It's not recommended to purchase the game if you don't live in Europe

Thanks very much Bannoltuk, much appreciated.

Not sure how much ping times effect performance in this game but I've never played an FPS where anything not close to local players wasn't a hinderance.

I'll keep an eye for future developments but not liking our chances here.

Elite matchmaking is very much alive though. On peek times there are about 600 playuers.

Its alive as you wanna make it. You can run your own server in game and most people will flock to ya in a few minutes.

As an NA player, I rarely have trouble finding an Elite match. We don't have a massive community, but we're not dead by any means.
