Does Cloud sync work in Steam version

I see that Steam performs the sync before and after the game has run. However, I do not see the files on my other devices. I have three. My main gaming rig, my laptop + my Steam Deck. All the saves seem to be saved locally only?

PS. I have previously used OneDrive to sync files between my gamin rig and laptop, but looking at the local files in Steam it seems that the save game location is not the same as in the versions of the games downloaded directly from Battlefront.

I have been doing some digging and it seems like the Steam cloud only syncs settings and not save games to the cloud. Exactly opposite to what is should do. Eg do not sync settings between computers, only the save games. My laptop, Steam Deck and Gaming rig all have different screen resolutions, so no syncing, please....

Does it run on Steam Deck? I can't find any source that knows. Not ProtonDB and certainly not Battlefront or slitherine.

Hi! Yes it does. I had to install a custom version of Proton, though. Apparently there is an issue with OpenGL (which Combat Mission uses). Feel free to Google it, I installed a version of Proton called Proton-7.0 Andriko and the game runs. Due to the save issue I have not played much on the Steam Deck, though. But game runs and I can launch a battle.
