Is CM using OpenGL or DirectX 9 APIs to generate graphics?
I was wondering if CM uses OpenGL, DirectX 12 or the DirectX 9 API to generate graphics?

I ask because the product page specs state both OpenGL and DirectX 12.

But my monitoring tools keep telling me that CM is using the DirectX 9 API.

Just wondering.

And was also wondering (just shooting in the dark) that if it was DirectX 9, could some of the DX9 to DX11 wrappers out there be used.

Weird.

AMD report DirectX 9.

The Adrenalin overlay says OpenGl.
By wrapper, you're saying Dxvk?? I don't think it's working.

And my Adrenalin overlay clearly states DirectX 9 for some reason. Checked multiple times on multiple runs for CM:BfN, CM:SF2 and CM:FI.

Using v24.5.1 drivers and software with an RX 6700 XT. Not aware of any other graphics related software or utility being used. First time to see the overlay misreport the used API for other games.

Just weird as it should be OpenGL, from what I understand.

Ok...Sorry. You were right about the overlay for Normandy. It says Dx9. That's weird because I totally sure that the game is OpenGL (Shock forces 2, it's saying Opengl).

The game is built using old OpenGL APIs. In fact I know it used to be developed and tested on a Mac. But it has DX9 wrappers to run on windows. No DX12.
